Who we are and what this covers

CazzyFooty organises casual football in and around Norwich. Unlike a noticeboard, we run the games ourselves: we book and pay for the pitch, bring the kit, fill the teams and split the sides. Your job is to turn up and play.

These terms are an agreement between you and [Legal entity name], company number [number], of [registered address]. By creating an account or joining a game you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the service. How we handle your personal data is set out separately in our privacy policy.

Your account

• You must be [minimum age] or over.
• One account each. Do not sign up on someone else's behalf.
• Give us accurate details and keep them up to date — we use them to tell you where and when to turn up.
• Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got in.
• You can close your account whenever you like, from your settings.

Joining a game

Not live yet Games and payments are not built yet, so nothing in this section or the two below applies until they are.

Every game shows the pitch, the kick-off time, the format, the ability level and the price per player before you join. You are only in the game once you have paid and we have confirmed your place.

If a game is already full you can join the waiting list. If someone drops out we will offer their place down the list, and we will tell you if you get in. Being on the waiting list is free and is not a booked place.

We put the teams together. We will try to balance them fairly, but the split is our call on the day.

Paying

Prices are per player, per game, and shown in pounds before you commit. Card payments are handled by Stripe — your card details go straight to them and never reach us.

Cancelling and refunds

Plans change, and pitches still have to be paid for. So:

• Cancel more than [X] hours before kick-off and you get a full refund.
• Cancel less than [X] hours before kick-off and we cannot refund you, because by then the pitch is paid for and your place has been held instead of offered to someone else.
• Not turning up without cancelling counts as a late cancellation, and also affects your reliability score.

If we cancel, you get your money back. That applies whatever the reason — weather, a pitch falling through, or too few players. We will tell you as early as we can and refund you in full.

Because a game is a leisure activity booked for a specific date and time, the usual 14-day right to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply. The cancellation window above is what you get instead.

Turning up and behaving

These are friendly games. Turn up on time, play fairly, respect the other players, the referee if there is one, and the venue's own rules.

We will remove anyone from a game or from the platform for violence, threats, abuse, discrimination, or damage to a venue — without a refund, and in serious cases we will involve the police.

Repeatedly not showing up hurts everyone else, because a place we held for you is a place someone else could have had. Attendance, late cancellations and no-shows feed a reliability score on your account, which can affect your priority for busy games. After [number] no-shows we may suspend your account. If you think your score is wrong, tell us and a person will look at it.

Football is a physical game

You take part at your own risk. By joining a game you confirm you are fit enough to play and have no medical condition that makes it unsafe. If in doubt, see a doctor first. You are responsible for your own boots, shin pads and any other protective kit.

We provide bibs, balls, a pump and goalkeeper gloves. Please look after them and hand them back at the end.

Ratings and anything you write

You can rate pitches and games. Keep it honest and keep it civil. Do not post anything abusive, discriminatory, or about another player personally. We may remove anything that breaks this, and we may remove ratings that look fake.

Suspending or closing your account

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why. Where the problem is fixable we will say so first. If we close your account for something you did not do wrong, we will refund any game you have already paid for and not played.

What we are and are not responsible for

We take running these games seriously and we will use reasonable care and skill. But we are not responsible for:

• injuries that come from ordinary football;
• anything belonging to you that is lost, stolen or damaged at a venue;
• the behaviour of other players;
• a venue's own facilities, or its decision to close a pitch.

Where we are liable, our liability is limited to what you paid us for the game in question.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer are unaffected by anything written here.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters to you we will tell you rather than expect you to spot it, and it will not change the terms of a game you have already paid for.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales.
